JFK Air Train

The Air Train, a light rail system between John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and subway/rail terminals in Howard Beach and Jamaica New York, opened on December 17, 2003. It was the 100th anniversary of the Wright Brothers' first powered flight. I rode it for the first time on Feburary 7, 2004 and took a series of pictures which are mounted here.

Thanks to the Air train, I can go from my home is Islip by Long Island Railroad to Jamaica terminal and board the Air Train. and head to the air terminal and the plane that will take me across the US or across the Pond to see some of my favorite teams.
